End of 2019 Season
Today will be officially the end of the tennis season for the Port Coquitlam Tennis Club. However, coordinators will choose to coordinate events if whether is permitting.
Thank you everyone for coming out this season and the support. We hope to see you all in 2020.

2019 Annual General Meeting
AGM will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2019 @ 7 pm in the PoCo Sport Alliance Game-Plan room located in the Pitt River Middle School at 2070 Tyner Street, Port Coquitlam.
Please come out to find out what’s happening with your Club. Let your voice to be heard.
We will be seeking nominations for Club Officers/Club Directors. If you are interested in any of these positions but can not attend the meeting, please send an email to flyingfur74@gmail.com and state the position you want to run for and a letter of acceptance.
If you want more information as to what is involved in these positions, please contact Lily at flyingfur74@gmail.com.
We hope to see you at the meeting. The Club needs help for it to continue to succeed. It may be an hour a week or 2 hours, every month. Anything helps!

PCTC Club T-Shirts
The Executive Board is pleased to show off the Clubs’ T-shirts. We chose the color red because in First Nations, Kwikwetlem refers to “red fish up the river”. Emails were sent out to its members on how to order your t-shirt. If you did not receive the email, please contact the Club. Deadline to order your t-shirt is September 8, 2019.

PCTC In-house Tournament
The Club is hosting it’s first in-house mixed doubles tournament on Saturday Sept 21 and Sunday Sept 22 from 8 am to 12 pm. Check your inbox for email to register. Deadline to register is September 16.

PCTC 2.0 – 2.5 Adult Clinic/Session
The PCTC would like to welcome Patrick Walker, a Club Pro 2 certified coach. Patrick will be conducting PCTC’s first ever 2.0 – 2.5 adult clinic every Thursday from June 13 to July 4. With an overwhelming interest, the Clinic is full. Please come back and check periodically here and on Facebook for updates on the next upcoming tennis clinics.

PCTC Annual Open House
PCTC will be having their Open House on Saturday June 1 from 12 pm to 5 pm.
Come out and grab a hamburger or hotdog with drink for $5.00. We will be selling raffle tickets for some great prizes.

Annual Membership Dues
This is a reminder that your annual membership fees are due on April 1, 2019. The membership fees have increased due to the City of Port Coquitlam applying court fees to the Club.
2019 Season Membership Fees
Adult – $50
Family (Spouses; Spouses with children under 18 yrs old) – $85
Junior – $30
Register and pay your membership fees by APRIL 30 and receive a discount on fees.
Adult – $45 (Save $5)
Family (Spouses; Spouses with children under 18 yrs old) – $75 (Save $10)
Junior – $25 (Save $5)

End of Season – Message from the President of the Club
To all Members and Guests of the Port Coquitlam Tennis Club,
As the President of the Club, I want to thank all members and guests for their participation and support to making this season successful.
I wish to extend my thanks to the board and coordinators for volunteering their time to help run the Club. Marcela Zacharik (Vice President) Milos Hanzl (Secretary/Treasurer), Diane Hanzl (Team Tennis Coordinator), Cathy Ashbury (Saturday Mixed Social), Tom Sun (Men’s Night) and Lily Copeland (Tuesday Mixed Social/ Thursday Ladies Night).

A success event. Lots of fun with members playing “King/Queen Of The Hill” and doubles tennis. Pizza was devoured and new friends were made. Thank you all for coming out!
Members Appreciation Night
All members of the Port Coquitlam Tennis Club is invited to the Members Appreciation Night. There will be pizza and fizz (non-alcoholic) to members who sign up. Check your email and/or junk/spam folder invite. Play some mixed doubles with other members. Wear your best tennis outfits as we will be taking some action, candid, group photos. Hope to see you out there!
